"Hero" es una canción escrita por Chad Kroeger de Nickelback y Josey Scott de Saliva. La canción fue grabada en 2002 por Kroeger, Scott, Tyler Connolly (guitarrista de Theory of a Deadman), Paul Iverson (bajista de Strange Advance), Mike Kroeger (bajista de Nickelback) y Matt Cameron (baterista de Pearl Jam). "Hero" fue grabada para la película de 2002 Spider-Man.

El video musical, dirigido por Nigel Dick, muestra a la banda tocando en el techo de un edificio en Nueva York. Además, se también se intercalan escenas de la película. El baterista Matt Cameron no participó en el video y fue sustituido por Jeremy Taggart de Our Lady Peace.
